911 Call Saves a Life

Today is a day where I went to work and had three hours of sleep. I was just wiped out. If you do happen to read this post topic it WILL move you to possible TEARS. Tears of joy. I am a Christian and this video if I loaded it right, moved me. I had a miracle happen to me today, which I will blog about later. It’s not time yet to tell of my miracle. What I love to do is SHARE information that I know others will enjoy. So, in a nutshell, this 911 operator gets a call from someone in her house who said, “your son has been shot.” Imagine being the 911 Operator (Diane) and talking to HER SON on the other end to try to do her job and save her son’s life!

When I think I am having a bad day, I am going to play this over and over. Miracles happen every single day.

Charlie, This one’s espeically for YOU.

Faith is immeasurably important. It is easy to say that we have faith, but watch

as this woman shows her faith. Diane Lamb, 911 operator got a call she

never thought she’d receive. Her son Bruce had been shot.

In this moving real life call she calls on Jesus to save her son.

I so believe, there are miracles out there every day. It doesn’t matter which faith we are, someone out there hears every whispered prayer. I never think of co-incidences, to me they are God’s incidences. M

    • Your’re right WordAngel!
      Faith matters not.
Through the rear-view mirror many small apparent co-incidences are not co-incidences at all.
But, we have to have faith to put it all together,no?
      Take care, Charlie

  3. Thanks barb for your comment. Wow, I really loved the video because If it happened to me, as a 911 operator, and my child, could “I” be as calm as she was?! Not so sure, but they must get “trained”.

Wow - that was amazing to listen to. How could you keep calm in a situation like that when your own child has been shot? This lady did just that, kept her cool all the while giving instructions to her son on what to do with the wound, and all the time talking about Jesus. Incredible woman, incredible faith!

  5. The Video was an inspiration, sad, and scary. In a way uplifting for the lady’s courage and conviction. I was a little put off that a pastor was “hawking it.” But, it is part of his calling. Funny, strange, how Madison Ave marketing techniques turn us off, no?

  6. BTW, Jackie, here is a great lay person’s inspiration: The Poem of the Man-God, by Maria Valtorta. This series sells for $50 per book, and we found a copy for $1.50 yesterday.

We are going to the central Georgia book sale today, and I will look for some Scott Hahn books.

    • Thanks Charlie, for the link and the look for Scott Hahn’s books. I went to resale shops today, only found three books. One is a “bathroom” reading book made just for bathrooms- LOL had to make everyone smile.

    • Charlie, That book is 200.00! You got a deal, how do I get it for 1.50? the link did not work for me????

      • We found it at Central GA’s Book Sale.
When we returned we could find the other four volumes. The whole set of of five is around $250 on Amazon.
The Link…?…I probably left out a “quotation mark.”

I am shutting down the WorksforChrist site, and consolidating the information on “The Power of the Word, here.

I lost a couple of hundred PICS with one wrong clik; so, I have been out of sorts today!

  7. Hey Jackie,Thank you remembering me. Jesus can be in everyone’s life, if we just reflect back on our own daily coincidences, when they were awfully mysterious, and what are the odds of fortuitous events happening so often?

Listen listen, love love. That’s a good way to be around others! Ciao, Charlie

  9. Narendra says:

I’m not a believer of god…however, I empathize with your love and dedication towards god…miracles do happen..I’m happy for you..

    • Ok Narendra, I could of said it differently I am sorry. It is okay for your belief’s to be different than mine and others. I will hear about your belief’s and in a non judgeing way. Thanks for being kind, and for commenting here.

    • Hi Narenda,
To believe, or not to believe, has been with us since man recorded things with written symbols eons ago. I applaud your spirit. Almost every human has doubts, and until death comes we will all be in the dark, unless we put: faith, hope, and love in our tool box, just like you opined above. Keep smiling! Charlie
