postadaychallenge2011 My Blog Jackie Paulson
Month 2: Big success blogging and finding buddies to make new friendships with. Some are male and others are female. I don’t get out of the house much because of a skin condition I am getting medical attention for. It takes time. I am getting a “Vampire facelift” (www.vampirefacelift.com) as soon as I can. It’s amazing. They take your blood and mix with other ingredients and insert into your acne or scares and make you look young again. I just want to cover all my scars. I hate to go out in public. It’s sad the world does judge me by looks, as I have had too many comments said to me; which now keeps me inside as much as possible. I call it a “disability.” I am grateful for all of my new friends on my blog and for the ability to interact and learn from everyone. It’s been a great journey so far. Thank you to each of you, My Friends.

I did have a cat years ago and he was beautiful; we had two poodles at the time and they all became good pals. We never got another one after he passed as my hubby and youngest son are allergic to them, but I would dearly love one.
We have a shih-tzu dog and she is our baby, spoiled rotten of course!

The shih-tzu is so popular in IL, I think because they are so family friendly, and train well. I had a poodle, so I love dogs, but our apartment Life never lets us have one. I grew to love cats. I have never lived in a home or house and I am 44 years old, moved when I was in my 20′s and rented apartments since.

Thanks for the lovely answers, and I understand the “allergic” reactions. My sister has the same thing. I dont’ get many visitors because of the “cats” but I go to visit my sister. She takes a pill for the day so that the hair that is on me from the cats, she is ok. I try to be careful too, for her sake.

I love cats too but due to medical reasons, I can’t have them around in my house. But my sister has 18 cats and all these start with 1 Persian cat “sort-of felling in love” with a normal black cat. Imagine that! Whenever I’m at my sister’s house, I see and smell cats everywhere.

I like cats but my wife is horribly allergic to them. If she walks inside the house of a cat owner, her eyes swell shut.
I’m afraid if I get a pet, it will have to be a goldfish.

Hi Jackie,
I just can’t imagine such a thing.
Our house will never be the same without our Chihuahua, if something was to ever happen to him.
Last year a Bull Dog suck-in to our porch and broke our cat’s neck. My wife and I didn’t want any more animals. We threw away all of the cat paraphernalia and licked our wounds for a pretty good while.
Take care, Charlie
