Types of Blogs the concept of starting a new blog
When I first started to blog I really had no idea what I was doing. I decided to try out the many different types of “free” blog platforms. At first I tried Blogger.com and enjoyed it as I learned how to use it. Then I also created another personal blog on Livejournal.com. The name itself helped me to create a journal of daily things on my mind. It was easy to figure out and this was over five years ago. Three others that I have tried are Blog.com, InsaneJournal.com, and My favorite WordPress.com. I have more than one personal blog now on WordPress as it’s my favorite to use and easy now that WordPress.tv was created. The videos have helped me to learn the many features inside the WordPress.com blog. Included on the page where you first set up your appearance is a Dashboard. This is where the blogger can go to set up their blog in a personal way fit to their personality. Below the Dashboard:

Each one of these mentioned above has a “function” that is really neat. The first thing I did was set up the appearance where I can choose a “theme” suited for what I like. WordPress has so many wonderful “themes” to choose from and you can change them anytime you want.
Now that I have joined in the postadaychallenge2011.com I have learned so much more about blogging. I also pay for a wordpress.org site: http://getreadingnow.com which is something I am working on. I chose that title because I love to read but am need any suggestions and comments to that site? Here are my other two blogs if you are interested. http://getreadingnow.wordpress.com/ and http://whatireadtoday2011.wordpress.com/.
Two new blogs I have made buddies with:

I’m amazed that you have three blogs…even if the other 2 are just in case ones!
That cartoon made me laugh - thanks for sharing that

This blog is my main concern the others are just “in case” blogs. I love to read so they are more on that type of blogging. My brain never seems to shut off.

The more the merrier, Jackie!
I ditched a couple today. I bought a Theme package and I can’t download them properly. Wordspress 3.1 is not open-able no matter what I do. Uuuugh.
I am convinced that video is the way to go. like…(CatholicStoryVideos) as soon as I can install my new themes. Take care.

How do you keep up with three blogs Jackie? I struggle with one!
I am so happy that I decided to use WP because I find it relatively easy to use, and I love the inter-action of being able to comment on each other’s blogs.
