Topic #72 I am a Paralegal
Question? What was your favorite class when you were in college?
Answer: I went to an online college: Kaplan University. I have an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal. I love law!
It is unfortunate that I cannot find a paralegal job in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I would hire me based on passion, but my knowledge would blow any attorney away. It’s sad for them they do not choose me for such a great candidate.
“A lawyer’s primer: If you don’t have the law, you argue the facts; if; you don’t have the facts, you argue the law; if you have neither the facts nor the law, then you argue the Constitution.”
“I have never been in LOVE; I have always been a Lawyer.”

Go for it, Jackie. You are aggressive, smart, and have the getup and go that it takes to be a great lawyer.
I am sure you know this already, but I will repeat it in case you don’t.
The cheapest people in the world are: Bankers & Lawyers. That is why in 30 years of Executive Search and Pre-employment Referencing I never chose to have a single one as a client. Neither did I do work for my own personal lawyer. Why? They don’t pay their bills! It’s as simple as that…
You are terrific Jackie… Enjoyed this post.

I second what Sharon says there, being a lawyer is such an awesome career and you sure sound like you have an exceptional gift. I reckon I would be hopeless at such a thing, I will stick to painting…Here’s to the future. x
That’s awesome! Law is an interesting thing….I once thought of considering it because I hate injustice so much but being a very emotional person, I felt like I would ultimately live in misery all the time having to see first hand all the wrongs in the world. I think you have to be a strong person to keep your job a job and not take it home with you and affect you. I have a huge problem with letting things bother me too much.
I hope you do make it as a lawyer because you seem like such a sweet woman and I think you would make a great, honest lawyer.
You hit the nail on the head cuz we need HONEST lawyers out there. I would love it. I would be great at mediation because I can see both sides and not be emotionally attached. But, I am learning to show my emotions now that I am 44. See, we were taught to HIDE out emotions all our lives, so this is new to me. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s just I hide my emotions so well. I hurt inside but can wait til private to express myself. Thanks for the compliment. xoxoox
