#30Trust Challenge Question

Post-it Question by Jenny Blake

That which each can do best, none but his Maker can teach him. Where is the master who could have taught Shakespeare? Where is the master who could have instructed Franklin, or Washington, or Bacon, or Newton? . . . Shakespeare will never be made by the study of Shakespeare. Do that which is assigned you, and you cannot hope too much or dare too much. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

#30Trust Challenge question:

Identify one of your biggest challenges at the moment and turn it into a question-

(ie How can I do work I’m passionate about?)

Write it on a post-it and put it up on your bathroom mirror or the back of your front door.

After 48-hours, journal what answers came up for you and be sure to evaluate them.

Bonus: tweet or blog a photo of your post-it.

I had a big challenge for today June 3rd 2011-I was “served” papers to go to court in my town for an old

debt. The amount was under 500.00, this told me that it was a “junk Debt collector” and with a degree

as a Paralegal- the other side showed up and guess what? I won my case. This proves to me that

I have knowledge like an attorney and I am so happy. It’s crazy I cannot find a job as a paralegal in Chicago IL

but I can help others with their junk debt collectors. If you read this, ask away.

How can I help others if they are summonsed to court for debts that they owe?

  2. Jackie, congratulations on your big win! Good to know that you’re in Chicago as I live in Oak Park — I will keep you in mind if I know or hear of anyone with a junk debt issue. Have an excellent weekend!

  3. Good for you and congrats!

  4. I will e-mail you about it.

    • Thanks Jessica.

  5. I hope I found my niche with debt collectors… and Jessica I need to know how to do virtual paralegal.

  6. I am glad you won your case. I know that I could use help with learning how to beat junk debt collectors. Maybe you inadvertently discovered a niche. Let me know how it goes! Miriam

  7. My town doesn’t have any paralegal positions available, but it’s a LOT smaller than Chicago. Since I can’t move, I decided to work as a virtual paralegal. You should look into it, too.

I love your Reply
