I love the deep blues and the feel of autumn in your photo. Great work.

Luckily, I snapped a ton of photos the other day during my visit to Des Moines that fit right in with this week’s challenge! The Iowa State Capitol Building is lovely any time of year but since there are less people working there in the fall it is a great time to visit. We got the grand 2:30 tour and went all the way up to the whispering gallery to stand so far up I nearly had a panic attack! Fun fact: A whispering gallery is a gallery beneath a dome, vault, or enclosed in a circular or elliptical area in which whispers can be heard clearly in other parts of the building. (Wikipedia)

Amazing colors and photos this week. Fall is a blast! This week I made a post that dwells more on the emotional part of Fall. The one we often don’t say but the heartaches can sometimes be overwhelming. Hope you like it.

Beautiful photos. Your single yellow tree reminds me of a tree we had at our old house. It was stunning, but the leaves fell early.

Though the colors of Fall are displayed brilliantly in the photos, my favorite is #3, It almost gives one the feeling of ‘reverse-gravity’ (sorry Mr. Webster) and seems to draw you upwards, into it’s gyre. (a payback for Mr. Webster)
