Post #61 The Great Tag Experiment

Tag You are It

March 2, 2011 Tags

This is a peek into what people on WordPress.com are talking about this very instant. It only includes recent activity, so it should change quite a bit over time. Click on any word to see the most recent posts under each tag or category.

The news seems to be the most popular tag out into the world of wordpress.com tags.

Music brings words to life and tags with music create a rolling ball.

Life has it’s ups and downs and trying to stay positive is everyone’s challenge~

Politics are just that politics.

Photography is pictures in words, expressions without words.

Travel seems popular but not something I enjoy doing but tag it for travel lovers.

Art is wonderful as we seek out new “Picasso” like-artists.

Food and Events go together as the television praises all the new things being made at home mothers and father.

This is as far as I can go, mentioning all those tags. :)

This is an experiment I think I failed.

10 Sleeping Problems in adults

In today’s Topic #56 brought to you by Plinky (http://www.plinky.com); “What keeps you up at night?”

I can't sleep

1. The loud Stormy Weather causes me to have sleeping problems as an adult.

2. My mind races about what happened during the day.

3. I have to finish a book I want to read before work the next day.

5. I am addicted to the internet; and it’s quiet at night; which keeps me awake.

6. Sleeping problems in aduts are very common especially as we get older and I am and adult.

7. Worring about this or that keeps me up at night, I get out a notebook and record my thoughts but find I still have sleeping problems.

8. When I am sick, sleeping is useless unless I am on some type of over the counter drug.

9. When my teenager is up all night on the weekends, talking, texting, or on the internet; the noise level keeps me awake where sleep problems happen.

10. Sleeping Problems in adults can be caused by so many different things; I choose to pray away the stress.

Has anyone else noticed that the blogs for the tag for postaday2011 aren’t advancing through all the pages?

Some of them seem to get stuck around page 5 and never show up again and some of the blogs listed on page 5 get repeated for several pages after that.

For what it’s worth this page with the vodka bottle is appearing on several pages at this time.

http://en.wordpress.com/tag/postaday2011/8/

This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this.

I have noticed this too

Are you Reaching your Goals? (via 4abettalife Blog)

I often read blogs like 10 or more daily. This one really caught my eye. It’s a positive challenge to reaching your goals. I have a “gratitude” rock. I collect stones. It gave me an idea to post them too. Please just check out this young man’s blog as you will not be happy you did.

In my previous post on reaching your goals, I suggested that you needed to understand what your core values are before setting your life goals. We don’t often think about our values, but they are critical to our success and happiness. In my previous post on reaching your goals, I suggested that you needed to understand what your core values are before setting your life goals. We don’t often think about our values, but they are critical to our success and happiness.

Dr John Demartini, human behaviour specialist, suggests writing down your top three responses to these five questions in order to determine your values.

1. How do you fill your space? - things that are important to you are held closely, usually on display in your home or work space, worn or carried around with you. I carry my gratitude rock (http://stufish7.wordpress.com/2011/01/04/do-you-have-a-gratitude-rock/) around with me at all times so Gratitude is one of my values.

2. How do you spend your time ?- you make time for things that are important and run out of time for things that aren’t.

http://stufish7.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/th_034-food-1024×768.jpg&h=120

3. Where do you always have energy for something ?- what energises you when you do it? Writing my blog energises me, so one of my values is Contribution.

4. Where do you spend your money? Would you get behind on your rent to buy a new pair of shoes? Then that says something about what you value.

5. Where are you most organised? Things that come up repeatedly represent your highest values. Hence Family is one of my values.

Once you have identified say your ten values, then it is possible to start to identify your real goals in life and/or business. Demartini argues that the real source of affirmative living is doing things that are congruent with what is really important to you.

> When we set a goal with our highest values in mind, we see the greatest opportunity and are inspired to do the things that really count, to achieve that goal.
>
> When you are congruent, you will endure pain and pleasure in pursuit of your goals. You’ll have more long-term vision, more patience and persistence. You’ll believe in yourself and your internal experience of your life becomes “I can, I know and I do”.

As a budding Life Coach, this is what I want to help my clients achieve for themselves and those they love.

This amazing tale of hope is the story of 5 year-old Elena Deserick. Diagnosed early

in life with cancer, she created a to-do list of all the things she wanted to do
with the time she had left.

She achieved a great goal by having one of her paintings displayed alongside one of
her favorite painters, Pablo Picasso. This is one of the most inspirational stories
you’ll ever see.

One of my favorite inpirational stores
ever, this one brings tears to the eyes.

Have a blessed day!

David

It’s amazing how taking a few minutes at the start of each day to plan and set your thoughts in the right direction can help you get ahead and empower you to accomplish so much more.

But too often, people get so caught up in the activity of life that they tend to just “go with the flow” instead. Of course, I’m not saying we shouldn’t be flexible, but when it comes to your life, you should be the one setting the flow. Of course, unexpected things happen. Our days won’t always go according to plan, but if you’ll take time each day to set your heart and mind in the right direction, you’ll be equipped for whatever comes your way!

Today I encourage you, make plans to start your day right and set your thoughts in the right direction. Put God first place. Let Him guide you and order your steps. Even if it’s just five minutes a day, make spending time with Him a habit. Plan your day with Him because careful planning is the way to get ahead

Your Disease Needs Healing: Lesson 2

My friend Catherine has brought this to my attention: ”Studies find that stress is not caused by what happens to us. Stress is caused by what we believe about what happens to us.” Foresight http://www.foresightyourpsychic.com/

The Definition of Stress:

Stress is the body’s reaction to a change that requires a physical, mental or emotional adjustment or response.

Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, nervous, or anxious.

Stress is caused by an existing stress-causing factor or “stressor.”

Time magazine’s June 6, 1983 cover story called stress “The Epidemic of the Eighties” and referred to it as our leading health problem; there can be little doubt that the situation has progressively worsened since then. Numerous surveys confirm that adult Americans perceive they are under much more stress than a decade or two ago. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,950883,00.html

Lesson 2: Stress Related Dis-eases

I have been diagnosed with Cystic Nodules.

I have Cystic Acne

After five months of treatments with no results.

This past week I developed a common cold, which turned into the flu, which turned into what I was diagnosed with Sinusitis.

My Sinus Infection

(Acute sinusitis; Sinus infection; Sinusitis - acute; Sinusitis - chronic; Rhinosinusitis)

Sinusitis refers to inflammation of the sinuses that occurs with a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection.

Thus, I was given AMOXICILLIN in 875 mg Tablets to take twice a day for 10 days.

The sinuses are air-filled spaces in the skull (behind the forehead, nasal bones, cheeks, and eyes) that are lined with mucus membranes. Healthy sinuses contain no bacteria or other germs. Usually, mucus is able to drain out and air is able to circulate.

When the sinus openings become blocked or too much mucus builds up, bacteria and other germs can grow more easily.

Sinus Infection Picture

Sinusitis can occur from one of these conditions:

  • Small hairs (cilia) in the sinuses, which help move mucus out, do not work properly due to some medical conditions.
  • Colds and allergies may cause too much mucus to be made or block the opening of the sinuses.
  • A deviated nasal septum, nasal bone spur, or nasal polyps may block the opening of the sinuses.

Now, the reason for all of this explaining is because what I did notice was all of the “cystic Acne” this week were exactly located on my face where the Sinus infection was…

1. Acne above each eyebrow

2. Acne on each side of nose

3. Acne on each cheeck

4. Acne On chin

This clearly indicated to me that since the antibiotic is curing the cystic acne that my cystic acne is related to the sinuses. Now with that new revelation I will go to my dermatologist to tell him what I have found out and see what he had to say. My guess is that the stronger antibiotic will cure me!

Thank you for any question, comments you have.

Your Dis-ease needs healing: Lesson 1

SUBJECT Disease Lesson 1

Have you considered reading the book by Carolyn Myss, “Why People Don’t Heal?” I have read her book on more than one occasion but just recently reviewed it as my chronic nodules acne will not “go away” or “heal.” Do you have a persistent illness? If so, please take the time to read her book as it has so many insightful things to learn from.

Let me first point out that any Dis-ease is your body trying to point to you something that needs to be healed. Our illnesses can be genetic as I claim not to be a doctor but wish to discuss my opinion of why we may not heal.

Many times as we encounter illness that persist can be due to our past emotions that have not yet healed. Do you agree or disagree?

Illnesses cause great pain with our physical, mental, emotional or psychological makeup. Wouldn’t you agree then that “PAIN” is a sign that “something inside needs to be changed in order to heal it?”

I know from experience, due to stress that is why my body reacts the way it does to this persistent nodules acne condition by evaluating the circumstances of my own life in the past year. I can pinpoint that “STRESS” is helping to keep my condition in its current chronic state. In order for healing to take place the stress must be reduced and eliminated; wouldn’t you agree?

I blame, Stress and once I heal that factor then the root of my problem is addressed and can be healed. What a “revelation.”
